Let’s prepare the charcuterie board, which has always been a wonderful place for wine magic to happen:
We’ll go over everything in more detail later, but first, here are some entertaining remarks.
- You can buy Pre-Made ones at your Local Grocery Store. This is becoming more and more common. Finally! And there is a reason. This is absolutely Splendid.
- If you want to make it a Plate. Simply Pre-Dish the Items for Single Servings for your Guests. This is enjoyable and makes it more official or suitable for specific settings.
- You can make this as Big or Small as you like. And be adventurous. There are no Rules really. Just enjoy and have fun with it all.
You can make your Designs as simple or as Sophisticated as you want! Have Fun With It!
You can decorate in many ways. Organizing the Cheese by Light to Heavy in Taste. The same goes for the nuts, fruits, and bread/crackers you’re using. You can arrange it in many forms and styles. Have fun and enjoy the process. We usually recommend having a glass of wine in hand while laying out the Charcuterie Board or Plates.
Suggested Items (To get your Creativity Going):
- An assortment of Cheeses. This is always a Great Ideal. Wine and Cheese. Yes please. It’s wonderful to have a few options. Having a dozen varied options just adds to the Wine Magic Event’s appeal. The cheese is almost as good as the wine.
- Different Options of Nuts. Pecans, Almonds, Cashews, Brazil, Macadamia, all of them really. We’ve yet to met a Nut that didn’t pair well with wine. They also make excellent flavor combinations with cheese and meats.
- Various Dried Fruits. Apricots, Raisins, Cranberries, Apples, Figs. Dried Fruits have different tastes.
- Options of Crackers. you want to be careful as to the Seasoning on the Cracker. It is suggested that you use a table cracker, Ritz or Club, Saltines, and the like. Peppery crackers may work, but you want less seasoned options so that the items placed on the cracker can have a “VOICE” in the tasting.
- Add in some Jams/Jellies. These go on the Cracker with cheese with Cheese, Cracker with cheese and Meat. Great addition to bring out the best of the Wine.
Your mind should be generating all sorts of ideas, right?
- Chocolates. Dark. Milk, White. all of it is great for this. You can also use chocolate-covered raisins, nuts, or berries.
- Meats (Salty and Savory). From Pepperoni’s Salami’ Roast Beef, Ham, Turkey, Chicken. All of it is great to add in. Make sure they’re in easy-to-eat or snack sizes.
- Honey (1 or multiple Variations). This is great to use. Including Honey in the Cheese and Cracker Concoction. Or Dried fruit. Or with Nuts. This, combined with the wine, will be a delightful treat for your guests.
- Fresh Berries. Whatever is in Season works. Through you will be amazed at how enjoyable these are with all the Wines Lots of Experience to be Had.
- Pickles and Vegetables. Have Fun. You could even create an entire experience around wine and vegetables.
What Wines To Pair With These Charcuterie Items?
The True Fine Wines that you have on their way when you Join the “True Fine Wines” Wine of the Month Club; will supply you all you need. And with a variety Month by Month. Making your weekends and Tuesday nights more interesting.
We advise beginning with Tanya Ricord Rose or the More Than Muse. And then going through the Whites (in body, lighter to heavier) and then into the Reds. Again, the Reds are transitioning from lighter to heavier bodies. And the more you drink fine wine, the better you’ll comprehend the differences in body and richness amongst varietals. practice makes Progress. And the Practice is Most Enjoyable!
- Tanya Ricord Moscato or
- Tanya Ricord Pinot Grigio.
- Moving into More Than Muse Sauvignon Blanc
- or More Than Muse Chenin Blanc.
- Then there’s the More Than Muse Chardonnay.
- The Nile Eddy Pinot Grigio is thereafter open for entry.
- and Donna Walker Cabernet Sauvignon.
- Adding the Linda Horn Cabernet Franc
- and Ricord Merlot.
Allowing you to Indulge in tastes and “flavor parties” that can be shared by everyone.
To make it a plate, just pre-dish items and prepare single servings for your guests.
This is ideal for simply a couple or a handful of you. And makes it look a little more “fancy”. Ideal for sampling multiple wines during the Wine Magic event!
